As per the bilateral agreements made between the Latvian government and several Asian countries, the State Education Development Agency of Latvia (SEDA; Lat. Valsts izglītības attīstības aģentūra – VIAA) offers scholarships to foreign students, researchers and teaching staffs.

For Bachelor’s, Master’s and First level of professional higher education studies students can receive

500 Euros Per month. Ph.D. students can receive 670 Euros Per month.

Many other University specified Scholarships are available for Meritorious students.
